A for Alexandre Miel, B for Benjamin Moureau and AB-irato, meaning AB-irato as in 'from the latin' describes the result of irritation and produces, as a result, a dynamic force of fashion statements and creations that provoke and prod atthe sensibilities of style perception.

With backgrounds in the disciplines of fashion and business both Benjamin and Alexandre bring many seasons of professional experience to their work. From the strict forms of design school and their apprenticeships, from their experience of obedience to others and their education in art they have created a company that has a strong foundation.

Strong enough so that when Alexandre begins his collection creations the world can literally turn on its head without the house falling down!

Alexandre, a rebel in the true sense, takes all that he has learnt, and he has learnt from some of the best, and manipulates it to enter another realm, a new paradigm where everything that ever came before loses relevance. Where creating chic from cheap becomes reversed.

Each design under his creation must pose the existential question of “Am I, or is this real?” as the softest Italian leather transforms into shiny bright vinyl and the hard sharp plastics are revealed to be delicate light woods. It's inside out in this world beyond the couture mirror and while it seems nothing is as it seems, and maybe it is all an illusion, the effect of the 'irato' in the AB-irato becomes apparent. This is more than an illusion, and is certainly no cheap trick, this is a highly developed comedic assault on the establishment.

The work of AB-irato confounds the sensibilities and leads a merry dance through skewed homage to the greats in art and design. Never imitating, just continually irritating to reach heighten achievements in creativity : this is AB-irato.
